1.8-meter (6ft) 12V DC fused cigarette lighter cable for Icom rapid charger desktop bases. 12–16V input, 4A internal fuse. EIA “S” connector.
The Icom CP23L is a 12V DC power cable that connects a standard vehicle cigarette lighter socket to compatible Icom rapid charger desktop bases, enabling in-vehicle radio charging without a mains power supply. At 1.8 meters (6 feet), it provides ample reach for routing through vehicle consoles or dashboard mounts. A 4A internal fuse protects both the charger and vehicle electrical system from surges or short circuits. The wide 12–16V input range maintains consistent power delivery during engine starts and varying alternator outputs. Compatible with desktop charging bases including the BC119NS, BC160, BC193, BC210, BC213, and BC220.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I plug this directly into my radio?
No. The CP23L is designed to power Icom desktop charging bases, not the radio’s side accessory port. Connect it to the appropriate Icom charger base for your radio model.
Is this compatible with 24V truck electrical systems?
No. The CP23L input range is 12–16V DC only. Using it in a 24V system will blow the fuse and may damage the equipment.
Can the fuse be replaced?
Yes. The cigarette lighter plug contains a user-replaceable 4A fuse. Replace only with a fuse of the same rating.
