It is the current production replacement for the Motorola WPLN6804 and maintains full functional compatibility across the APX portable radio line.
The WPLN6904A is an essential tool for government, military, and public safety communications technicians responsible for COMSEC key management. It is used to load, update, or rekey encryption variables on individual radios or across an entire fleet. This cable does not include a KVL device; the Key Variable Loader is sold separately.
