The Motorola MOTOTRBO R5 is the official replacement series for the legacy XPR3300e and XPR3500e, delivering advanced audio processing, upgraded IMPRES power intelligence, and a significantly tougher exterior housing. Available in two interface configurations — a streamlined Non-Display model for heads-up tactical focus, and a Display with Limited Keypad model for rapid channel navigation — both variants maintain full backward compatibility with existing analog and digital conventional networks.
Constructed to withstand unforgiving field hazards, the R5 is certified to MIL-STD-810H military guidelines with an IP67 weatherized seal for complete dust and water immersion protection. For hazardous industrial environments containing combustible gas mixtures, Intrinsically Safe (IS) variants are available with full UL-rated TIA-4950 compliance.
