The Hytera HP602 is an H-Series DMR portable two-way radio designed for clear communications and straightforward operation. Its 0.91-inch OLED display shows essential channel, signal, and power information at a glance, without the HP682's full keypad and larger color screen.

Extreme Ruggedness & Security

Basic ARC4 digital encryption is included. The optional Hytera SW00017 AES256 license adds AES 256-bit encryption and is sold separately for each radio.

Does the Hytera HP602 need programming, and is the software included?
Yes. The HP602 needs to be configured to match your network's frequencies and analog or digital settings. The HP602-compatible H-Series version of Hytera CPS is included with an HP602 purchase from Atlantic Radio. Self-programming also requires a compatible Windows PC and the PC152 cable, sold separately. Software inclusion does not include the programming cable or programming service.
What is the difference between the HP602 and HP682?
The HP602 has a 0.91-inch OLED display and no full DTMF keypad. The HP682 has a larger 1.8-inch color display and full keypad for menu navigation, text entry, and manual dialing. Both share the HP6 series core radio features and accessory options.
Does the HP602 feature location tracking?
Only equipped models support GPS location tracking and Bluetooth. Select HP602-G-BT-Um for UHF or HP602-G-BT-V1 for VHF when those features are required.
Can the HP602 communicate with older analog radios?
Yes. The HP602 supports analog FM and digital DMR. Analog communication requires the same frequency band, matching frequencies, and compatible tone settings. Digital communication requires compatible DMR settings. UHF and VHF models cannot communicate directly across bands.
Does the HP602 come with encryption?
ARC4 basic digital encryption is included. AES 256-bit requires the optional SW00017 license, sold separately for each radio. Communicating radios must use compatible encryption settings and matching keys.
Is a charger included with the HP602?
Yes. The HP602 kit includes the CH10L30 desktop charger and required PS1014 power supply. These do not need to be purchased separately with the radio kit.
Is the HP602 waterproof?
The HP602 is rated IP67: dustproof and protected against temporary immersion in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. Water-porting technology helps drain the speaker cavity.
